About AB & Beyond
AB & Beyond is the prêt line of Achin Bindlish, the Indian couture house also known as House of Achin Bindlish. It makes contemporary Indo-western ready-to-wear for men and women: tuxedos, jackets, shirts and kurtas. The idea is simple. Heritage Indian craft, reworked for the way people dress today.
From the heirloom to the here and now
Indian craft has long been kept for the big day. The wedding, the festival, the one evening a year. AB & Beyond starts from a different question: what happens when that craft is made for every day?
The answer is lighter cloth, cleaner lines and the same eye for finish. Clothes that hold their own at a sangeet and still make sense on a Tuesday.
